There was plenty of eye candy at the 2011 Road America Vintage Motorcycle Classic in Elkhart Lake, Wis., but one of the highlights was Rod Schmidt’s 1934 Moto Guzzi GT-17. Rod entered the bike into the Motorcycle Classics Ride and Show, and our staff had the pleasure of working next to the bike all day as it was displayed next to our tent.
According to the information Rod provided, the Guzzi was purchased in Asmara, Ethiopia in 1971. It’s in great condition and best of all, Rod rode it to and from the show.
